Why won't an informational CD play in my windows media player but it does play music CD's?

Maye Delk: windows media player is designed to play music and videothe information in your cd about your phone is probably not in a format windows media player can read.open my computer and double click on the CD icon, am guessing that it should autorun the software on the cd and you'll get the info your looking for...if not then it will show you the contents of the cd, determine what file types are stored on it then you can fined an appropriate program to run it...Show more
