Demetrius Coaster: very probably, definite it may well be a copyright violation. further and further textbooks are popping out in digital format. What no longer seem into this? you're able to have many (or maybe all) of your textbooks on your Kindle/corner/iPad/etc., and not would desire to hold around a brilliant stack of books.
Lynn Hollars: There's no problem with renting a textbook all you have to do is make sure that the website/place is accredited so you don't get ripped off or experience fraud. Usually places on campus also rent textbooks so you should look into that too. Make sure you have enough time between before class starts so you get them on time though, some places take forever.Personally i think textbooks are way too expensive as well. but websites like half.com have helped me. most of the time every textbook i get is under 50 dollars. I bought a physics book for 25 dollars and a microbiology book for 20. So sometimes it might be good to keep a f! ew books or so.. Good luck!...Show more
Samara Siewers: I've never had a problem personally. The biggest thing when renting is to make sure you get the book back to them at the right time so they don't charge your card for the full price of the book. Also sometimes I've found some of my books for purchase even cheaper then for rent. I always use http://www.bigwords.com They are a textbook search engine the searches all the online retailers and rental sites to find you the best price, be it a rental or purchase. It's pretty cool actually....Show more
