How can i get to Stokes State Forest, NJ by public transportation?

Estrella Northway: Lakeland bus lines out of Port Authority goes to Newton, NJ (Sussex County-last stop behind a Shoprite, and near Route 206N). You'd need a cab from that bus stop to Stokes, via 206N - it's a haul, about 30 miles. Bus # 194 from Port A. to Stockholm, NJ (Sussex County also); however it's also a haul from Stockholm NJ, to Stokes- (route 23N to route 647-650 - 206S) again, you'd need a cab.Otherwise, there's no public transportation in the county. I hope you're able to get there-beautiful country, (and there's also the Appalachian Trail : ) ).Just a suggestion: Get your driver's license as I did, when I lived in the city. You can always rent a car even if you don't buy one.Good luck...Show more
