Can I get my motorcycle license?

Francisco Schonhardt: Yeah you can. You can just take a written test but I would recomend to take the safety course. Especially if your new. Its a $23 fee and it expires in four years on your birthday. For more info. go to my source.

Luis Farlow: you you could have done it at 16

Hyman Coren: You can go and start the application for the motorcycle license today, if you want. The best way, in my opinion, is to take a motorcycle safety course. Bikes and helmets are provided. It's $25 for the course and you'll need eye protection, gloves, over-the-ankle footwear, pants and a long-sleeved shirt or jacket. You need a valid motorcycle permit to take the course. The cost of the permit is $19.50.After passing the course, the riding test is waived and you can head straight to the BMV to have them add the endorsement on to your license. The new license is $23. For one year after receiving the endorsement, you have to wear a helmet. Study the Motorcycle Operator's Manual av! ailable at the BMV before taking the test. Most of the questions come from the MOM.Information about motorcycle permits are available here: http://bmv.ohio.gov/driver_license/mc_lic.htmThe MOM is available here: http://bmv.ohio.gov/pdf_forms/GHS0071.pdfThe motorcycle class info is available here: http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/default.html...Show more

Tomi Vauters: just go to the dmv and ask

Ricky Frazer: I would honestly recommend getting your license before you actually get a bike. Your insurance rates will be lower once you finally do get a bike than if you had just gotten your license the day before. In addition this will allow you to test ride different bikes once you are actually ready to buy one. About storing your bike in an apt, I actually had an apartment that offered storage space in the basement which I stored my motorcycle in for a while. It worked, but was extremely difficult to get back out....Show more

Kate Baune: You can get the license...! but the insurance cost would be gigantic. And in ohio the ag! e to get it is 18 not 16 like someone else said.
