Ruby Martis: Rails on the handguard are called "Quad Handguards" and Bushmaster does sell them. You may not see it in the pictures of the assembled uppers or pics of the rifles they sell - but they do carry them. The problem is they only carry the top of the line most expensive ones.......... unless you are planning on spending the next year in Iraq or your local police dept is paying for it , the most espensvie ones you do not need. That - and handguards only take 15 seconds to swap out, require no special tools - your wife, girlfriend or buddy just needs to hold the rifle up while you push the Delta ring back and pull them out (top out first, bottom next - and go bottom first, top last when reinstalling) Take a peek at www.midwayusa.com for these - it's in the gunsmithing seciton under AR-15 Parts>Handguards. They have 9 pages of them, starting off with $39 Tapco composite ones and $59 Chinesse aluminum ones to $300+ GG&G and Yankee Hill Machine models.Things to cons! ider. If you use your rifle in the winter - the very last thing you need is an aluminum Quad handguard. Because your fingers are gonna stick to it in the cold like a kid getting his tongue stuck on a pole during winter recess. That - and Quard rails are hard on the bare hand. And by the time you pony up for the rail covers - the things are pretty wide and can be hard to hold on to. Unless you are doing TAPS (tactical and practical shooting) or on a local police swat teacm - quad rails can be a huge unnecessary cost and added wieght to your rifle. Most people are better off buying the rail adapter that fits the bottom of the standard handguards - because adding a forestock or tripod are the only really truly useful accessories - realistically. But yeah. Not finding the quad rail of my dreams would not slow me down from ordering a Bushmaster or any other rifle. They are just too easy to swap out....Show more
Eleni Mccier: you think Tapco would make something like! that.
