Isn't all music, real music?

Bennie Lantgen: Never. Get her first record and listen to the lyrics. She was 17 when she first started, but always sexy and very provocative music. She was never the virginal role model for young girls, IMO.

Ninfa Aronica: Honestly I consider real music as good music in any genre. So I think some musicians don't make real music. They're just trying to do it. Katy Perry can be a great example for this. So my answer is no it isn't.

Sherri Drakos: Josey likes the classic cock and metal.

Lourie Mcroberts: What ever pleases you, is real music, music it the sound of the wind going through the trees, the sound of a wave on the rocks, and most of all, real music is what you feel in your heart.take caredave

Dedra Furguson: yeah all music is real music, but those rappers all suck.

Kara Tabian: I have a lot of favorites! Anything that jimmy page did in zep was awesome. He was the absolute master of layered guitar sounds! Some of the most notable would ! include Ten Years Gone from Physical Grafitti, Achilles Last Stand from presence, pretty much all of houses of the holy! I could keep going! The award for fat wah tone goes to satriani, a veritable tone meister! His first album, NOT of this EARTH, is a encyclopedia of awesome tones! From the chiming opening chords and stellar octave melody riff to the brooding darkness of the etheral 'Brother John', the entire album is 'toneworthy'! Jimi Hendrix! (what can I say that hasn't been said) Petruci is incredible for prog metal sounds (have you ever heard the 1st album "when dream and day unite"?) some of the best sounding rhythm guitar (and lead too!) is by Alex Lifeson on the hemispheres and farewell to kings albums! But the award for most consistent tone from album to stage has got to be for Eric Johnson! I got to see him do all of 'ah via Musicom' live as well as a two hour set of hendrix that was so perfect not only note wise, but sounded dead off like the original recordings! ! I swear he was channeling Jimi through that setup (most of w! hich WAS actually jimis he later told me!) his tone was flawless for everything he did!...Show more

Arnette Dominici: I agree with you. She is stupid.Music is music, there is no fake music. If listening to the radio makes you happy then good for you. :)

Ronny Dorge: so i know some of you are familiar with the devils tri-tone, consisting of 3 notes played 3 times but in different octaves?where did this originate from? the earliest i heard was a song in the 80's i beleive it was the conjuring buy Megadeth.but im not too sure.does anyone know what musician satrted this?...Show more

Kirk Coolbeth: Tony Iommi was the first guitarist to popularize the tri tone. That was in the late 60'sBQ: Back then everybody though that those notes would summon the devil and I guess Sabbath was the only band with enough balls to try it out. And also it sounds totally evil.

Lucrecia Laurito: umm, in my opinioon, she is the second GREATEST role model evar. she is second, fi! rst of course is Tiger Woods.

Lucrecia Laurito: "you might be able to answer this...?"still waiting for the question...it's not bad I guess, sounds like something Berzerker would make, but I'm not into cybercore or whatever the hell kind of "core" it is....Show more

Hobert Dula: i think chris brown is better.penguins, yo!fo shizzly ma chickenzzz

Clementina Collelo: i likes old musics it will give a nostalgic feel..old is gold this is a meaningful words...

Bryan Avinger: mm yes. i agree as well, shallow and pedantic.

Wilmer Skidmore: @speak english- haha leave it up to people to think something far fetched like that.

Stanton Valdivia: I completely agree with you. All music is real music. And anyone who thinks that mainstream music is not music doesn't understand what music is.

Alexis Reyer: I consider real music to be anything that seems to be a song.

Caleb Chapman: I always thought of her as that nice lady who sings about danc! ing and umbrellas, that changed when Rude Boy came out.

Mozell Sp! onsler: @ speak english -ahh i see, whenever i see a musician playing the tri-tone they never give the guy credit.BQ: do you know why the musician picked those set of notes? or what was his inspiration for it?

Esmeralda Pigram: So I was on youtube messing around, and I found this lame montage of scene kids video, but the song in the opening is soooooo sick but the band is from columbia or something crazy, it sounds like if brokencyde was hella brootal and manly, here is the link, but beware if you are a scene hater this might make you puke... but the song is so dope http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL8Gxx_DMQQ

Tawny Grosskreutz: The Devil's tritone has been used ever since the Renaissance times. It was named this because there was common superstition that it would summon the devil. Black Sabbath's music was originally made to entertain and scare people the same way horror movies do. Therefore, they used the devil's tritone and popularized it.

Esmeralda Pi! gram: you must've forgetton about when she first came out with pon de replay and all her outfits showed her stomach and all that what not so yeah, she was never really seen as a role model more as just sexy

Catheryn Small: "Deap" bwahahaha...

Rosalyn Olivera: You should ask your friend if he likes porn.If he says yes, then ask if he would watch it if a guy and girl were doing it.If he says yes, then you ask him if he'd enjoy it if the guy had a small penis and couldn't really perform. If he says no, then you tell him he's gay...and he should stop criticizing your music taste and start to look towards himself and see that by him criticizing your taste in music that it's all a desperate call for him to come out of the closet.P.S.We all have different taste, but in reality a lot of the music being popped out now is trash....Show more

Donnell Nocella: I'm just gonna warn you.Everyone here will pick classic rock and metal.

Ronald Moehr: Does it have melody! ? A beat? A singer? Any one of those 3 is music in my book.

Demet! rius Coaster: its ok but i like the really dark stuff but its not bad

Arden Strachn: Yes. Your friend is just really stupid...

Joesph Smithmyer: You listen to mainstream artists. And it's understandable. Some of it is actually very catchy and reasonably decent initially. Then it gets overplayed and then it becomes overrated. It's very annoying. I guess, some people just don't like artists who use auto-tune or any other equipment to enhance their vocal abilities. It seems, I don't know, fake. I mean, listen to whatever you want to, whatever rocks your boat. But in my opinion, mainstream artists like: Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Justin Beiber, Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa, etc. - they don't make music for the ears, they make it for the eyes. And that's what bothers me most about mainstream "artists". I listen to indie, folk, alternative, soul, etc. and underrated artists who actually don't care that their songs aren't on the radio 24/7. They don't do it for the mo! ney, but for the actual music....Show more
