Star Gollnick: Blue daze or Mexican heather are excellent easy low maintenance flowers. You will still have to water then to help them get established, but since you have to fill the bird bath anyway that should not be a problem.

Lillie Yarde: Three that I can think of. A coneflower like purple coneflower or yellow or black eyed susan. Leave the flowers on and the birds will eat the seeds. Second, budelia or butterfly bush, grows a bit large but the butterflies love it, comes in several colors. Third is knockout roses, require only trimming to shape.

So I totally understand.I'm a 36 year old guy. The only cavity I've ever had was in a deciduous molar, when I was maybe 9 or 10 years old. But I've yet to have one in a 'permanent' tooth, or whatever they're called.The funny thing is - Until 2007, I probably hadn't been to a dentist for nearly 20 years. Since my mid-teens. When I finally got up the nerve to see one, I thought for sure I'd be in need of major work, maybe even dentures. The cavity I'd had when I was a kid had eaten away like 1/4 of the tooth and required extraction. Yet this happened during a time when I saw the dentist every 6 months.Needless to say! , I was super happy to hear that I didn't have so much as a single cavity after going without the services of a dentist for so long. Alls I needed was a few hardcore cleanings due to calculus beneath the gum line. It's been two years since that last check-up, and I've just had x-rays and an exam. Still cavity free. Is this unusual? How special am I in this regard? I'd always thought that pretty much everybody needs a filling now and then. Friends bought one that had rope winding around the post part, instead of carpet, and it is wearing much better than mine, and it doesn't shed bits of carpet everywhere when they sharpen their claws. I would also say, the taller the better for lots of climbing fun, and really te! st out its stability because they will hurl themselves on it when playing and jumping on it, and it could hurt them if it topples. bedroom remodel and the NEC requirement for AFCI.?

According to 2005 NEC 210.12(B) "All 120 volt, single phase, 15- and 20- amp branch circuits supplying outlets in dwelling unit bedrooms shall be protected by a listed arc-fault circuit interrupter, combination type installed to provide protection of the branch circuit." Now if this baseboard heater is going to to be a plug-in style then it would have to be on an AFCI but most baseboard heaters will have a dedicated circuit and will also be 240 volts.... which would exclude them from this requirement. As the previous answerer stated, it would be a good idea.... but I have not run across a double pole 30 or higher amp AFCI. You may check with your local supply house to see if these monsters exist ... but the probability of finding one is slim. Good luck and hope this answers your question....Show more

Babette Deloe: I use something similar to that recipe. 1 bar of felz naptha laundry soap, 3 cups arm and hammer washing soda (different from baking soda), and 3 cups borax. I started using it when money was a little tight but I keep using it because it works. I had a shirt that I had washed with every stain remover I could get my hands on. After washing it several times with the homemade stuff the stain was gone. I've also started using a homemade fabric softener of sorts. half a cup or so of baking soda, about 2 cups of vinegar, and enough water to make about half a gallon. I missed the smell of regular fabric softener so I started adding a capful of my favorite snuggles. it works great....Show more

Wally Gower: Optical cable is for audio signal only. You need to connect your Sky HD using HDMI cable to the tv and your home theater to the tv using HDMI cable. HDMI cable carries the video and audio signal. Then use the optical cable to connect the Shy HD to the home theater in a box. Keep in mind that most tv program are in stereo only and not surround sound. Only those tv program with the dolby digital is in surround sound. Your DVD player does not have an HDMI cable input, it is a player only and it should be the output. Violent video games can make kids mor! e aggressive, but imo never enough to make them very violent kids. I think no more than kicking and roughhousing with their friends. Now, if they played it hours on end every day in a dark room it might brain wash them, but I'm not sure (and that would be very bad parenting). I am a very paitent person, so I never rose to the occassion, just ignored them.One day after school, while going home, I was accosted by the same bun! ch of girls in the school yard. They stared swearing and calling me all sorts of names (As I was new, I hardly even knew the swearing words, so it rolled off by back), but then suddenly, the head girl, gave me a push and I fell on the wet ground. But don't you ever let them push you or hit you, just break the nose of the leader of the pack and rest will fall. Teacher did come to comment and to separete us, but there was no need. Everyone who withnessed it, said it was not MY fault, I was pushed in a cornor.
