Carter Edstrom: Portulaca also called moss rose would certainly meet the criteria.
Edwina Fu: Marygolds LOVE sun. I planted seeds and got a whole bush without barely doing anything exsept watering the once in a while. I will worn you though bees love them to and they grow pretty fast and big. Hope this helps.
Star Gollnick: Blue daze or Mexican heather are excellent easy low maintenance flowers. You will still have to water then to help them get established, but since you have to fill the bird bath anyway that should not be a problem.
Lillie Yarde: Three that I can think of. A coneflower like purple coneflower or yellow or black eyed susan. Leave the flowers on and the birds will eat the seeds. Second, budelia or butterfly bush, grows a bit large but the butterflies love it, comes in several colors. Third is knockout roses, require only trimming to shape.
Ira Porietis: Zinnias. All they need is full sun and a little water. The attract all kin! ds of birds and butterflies.
